Junior PHP Software Engineer/Developer – Influential Role – London

Junior PHP Software engineer is required to join a leading cutting edge software house company based in West London. My client is a young, profitable company who do advanced statistical analysis of football. They are looking for a Junior PHP engineer to help them build interactive, football related web applications that help their staff analyse football. The successful candidate will be able to write structured, testable code for their web applications. You should have experience of object-oriented programming in PHP, and also some practical experience of building and maintaining commercial applications. Ideally you’ll also have some experience of working with modern PHP web and MVC frameworks. You should have a good Computer Science degree, or similar. They will happily consider applications from candidates with other educational backgrounds, but we will expect you to demonstrate strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals to an equivalent standard. If you can show code from Github, that is always a plus. An excellent salary and benefits package is on offer, with interviews available immediately.
