Mechanical Associate (Building Services)

The Manchester Office is looking to recruit an Associate level Mechanical Engineer to lead projects and design teams related to the Health Care, Education, Commercial and Residential sectors. Taking a leading role and the additional responsibility of interacting directly with high profile clients, this post will best suit a high performing ambitious Mechanical Engineer looking for a route through to higher level management in the future.

Applications are invited from technically gifted Principal or Associate level Engineers, able to produce full detailed HVAC (heating, ventilation & air conditioning) design specifications for a wide variety of buildings and developments. It is imperative that candidates can clearly demonstrate their suitability for such a key position in the business, this will include: –

Detailed knowledge of mechanical building services systems
Experienced management of complex design schemes
Sound understanding of multi-disciplinary projects
Mentoring of Junior/Graduate Engineers
Value Engineering
Low Carbon design
Effective client management
Business Development
Commercially astute

To be considered for this exciting role you must be a professionally qualified Mechanical Building Services Engineer (CEng preferred), currently working for a competitor Consulting Engineering practice, M&E Contractor or Public Sector Institution.
