A well-established Primary School on the Isle of Wight seeks to appoint a creative and motivated Lower Primary Teacher for a January commencement.

The school has operated on the island for more than 40 years and offers a quality education with an emphasis on pastoral care to students from Reception to Year 6. In addition to the schools sound curriculum and strong quality of teaching, it offers an extensive extracurricular programme, which all students are encouraged to participate in.

The successful candidate will be able to plan and deliver engaging and inspirational lessons, differentiate to suit differing student learning styles. The school offers a supportive and collaborative teaching faculty and leadership team, with regular professional development.

The Isle of Wight offers some of the UK’s most beautiful scenery and milder temperatures than most of the main land. The island is home a variety of cultural and music festivals every year. A regular hovercraft service goes directly from the Isle to and from Portsmouth harbour, taking only 10 minutes.

Requirements:

A Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in Teaching (Early Years/Primary)
