Junior Software Support Consultant – Accounting Software

Excellent opportunity for a Junior Software Support Consultant in Bridgwater, Somerset – if you are bright, well educated, with plenty of initiative and have an understanding of accounting and payroll software, you will be trained in our clients own ERP and accounting software to become a Software Support Consultant.

The company has been in the software business for 30 years and produce their own accounting, web, stock control, and e-commerce business software solutions. You will join a busy, friendly help desk team of 6 providing telephone, email and remote log in support to their client base across the UK, with potential to move into software implementation in the future.

Essential requirements:

* High standard of education – an Accounting or Finance Degree would be very useful, or an AAT qualification
* Basic knowledge of accounts and payroll with and understanding of accounting software
* Strong numerical skills
* Plenty of initiative, energetic, out going and confident on the telephone
* Computer literate – good Microsoft Office skills
* Well organised, a hard worker and able to absorb new information quickly
* Great customer service and problem solving skills

If you have any knowledge of accounting software such as Sage 50, Sage 200, Dynamics NAV, Iris Exchequer, Dynamics AX, Coda, Agresso, Access Accounts, QuickBooks, Xero or similar, this will be a real advantage.
