Architectural Assistant Part 2

Our client is an award winning, UK top 20 multi-discipline property and construction consultancy. Due to current growth and expansion they are seeking an Architectural Assistant (Part ll) to join their busy and vibrant Oxfordshire office set in idyllic surroundings with a commutable distance from London and The Cotswolds.

The Role

Due to further recent success and as their expertise continues to grow they have opportunities for a talented Part ll Architectural Assistant. They have a strong and dynamic team of over 25 Architects. Projects include world class technical facilities, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, education buildings, offices and private one off commissions.

Responsibilities:-

* Carry out studies and design proposals for review
* Assistance with formulating and communicating the brief effectively to colleagues as required
* Cooperate with other members of the design team
* Ensure design proposals conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards
* Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines
* Assistance with planning applications, Building Regulations and appeals
* Inspection of building work on site

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:-

* Part II Qualified
* Strong design and technical skills – Revit experience is preferable
* 3D capabilities desirable
* Experience in industrial architecture and/or complex technical buildings
