Salary: £102 per hour
Aylin White are currently working with a growing Fit Out subcontractor based in Hertfordshire to help recruit a Senior Façade Estimator.
With an £85m turnover, they are growing in size – they have a very steady order book of projects with multiple leading developers on high rise buildings from Peterborough down to the south coast, where they specialise in the design and build of drywall, screeding, drylining, suspended ceilings, fire protection, plastering, joinery, facades and roofing.
As a Senior Façade Estimator, you will be responsible for:
* You will be producing budget estimates for cost consultants, system suppliers and other parties as required.
* As a Senior Façade Estimator you will be liaising with external suppliers for job specific quotes ensuring the most accurate and cost-effective pricing is obtained and all elements are accounted for.
* You will Attend and organise tender review meetings as required to discuss the full scope of works and ensuring any additional questions / queries are clarified.
* Working with internal Facades departments (procurement / planning / operations / design) to obtain their expertise on pricing and tenders, as required.
* The Senior Façade Estimator will be supporting the business with expanding their list of preferred suppliers to ensure the best quality products are selected at the most cost-effective prices.
* You will be following up tender submissions as required ensuring regular feedback and any amendments and questions are actioned as quickly as possible.
Qualification and Skills:
* As an experienced Senior Façade Estimator you will have a proven track record in estimating Facade projects.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Excellent commercial acumen.
* Good management skills
* A proactive and organised approach with the ability to work to strict deadlines in a fast and dynamic environment.
* Excellent IT skills including experience in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook
