Operations Manager

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Our client a forward thinking world leader in electronics/electrical products who have a requirement for an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for one of the primary divisions within the business. This role is a key liaison between the trading divisions and the execution of our Supply Chain activities through our 3PL partners. As well as the day to day you will take ownership of specific projects in nominated divisions. This position can be based at either Wellingborough or Surrey.

Key Activities will include:

* Coordination and communication between the business and chosen fulfilment partners

* Ensuring operational performance in line with agreed service level agreement

* Ensuring operational efficiency in line with commercial considerations

* Challenging performance outside of agreed levels and initiating plans to remedy and resolve any poor performance

* Coordination of seasonal events, exceptional events relating to the nominated division

* Communication of weekly, seasonal and critical information to internal customers is a key requirement of this role

* The provision of cover and support to other divisions as and when the wider team requires

* Resolve disputes between internal stakeholders and external partners

* Prepare weekly summaries and monthly reports to internal stakeholders

* Prepare short term and long term forecasts with support of other resources in the team

We are looking for an ambitious candidate with strong operational knowledge and excellent communication skills. A flexible approach and a problem-solver attitude, with a strong hands-on mentality that likes to works in teams but can work independently as well. Candidates will be able to demonstrate a successful career in an operational role, ideally in a D2C and B2B environment with a retailer.
