Magnetic is seeking experienced nurses to provide primary care for patients with a wide range of conditions in a healthcare setting similar to a prison, walk-in centre, or A+E. Full training will be given if you are new to prison healthcare, experience is not necessary but a strong interest to work in this setting is essential

The RGN role is much like a Practice Nurse role, as it will involve providing primary care services such as immunisations, asthma, COPD, assessing people with a wide range of issues from strokes, bladder problems, TB, general medical problems etc, ensuring that documentation is completed i.e. GP notes, physical health monitoring forms and Physical Health Care Plans.

The role will involve liaising with the teams on each clinical area and responding to the needs of patients

37.5 hrs per week. Shifts cover both days and nights 7-19.30 and 19.00-7.30hrs but you would only work nights once a month. This pattern equates to 3 shifts every week and a 4th shift once in every 4 weeks
