Toolroom Manager – Press Tooling

Spence Precision are currently recruiting a Toolroom Manager with a Press Tooling Background
Salary £48,000 – £54,000Per Annum

Role/Responsibility:

As a Toolroom manager you will have a very strong background in press tooling and you will be responsible for the following areas:

* Manage a team of toolmakers to ensure efficient operation of the department
* Repair, modify and maintain existing press tools
* Report on potential issues & solutions
* Review existing methods and processes to improve productivity
* Lead Continuous Improvement activities

Skills/Qualifications:

* Successful candidates will have Visi experience with a minimum of 5 years served as a press toolmaker.
* Previous experience leading & supervising a small team of skilled toolmakers is essential.
* Press Tooling Background is essential
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills are a must and you will be expected to have the initiative and drive to create and improve systems to benefit the team and wider business.
