Pyramid8 Recruitment are delighted to be working with our well established and successful legal client to recruit a Marketing Assistant.
Our client is one of the largest Legal firms in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. They are looking to recruit an ambitious Marketing Assistant to join their team in their Grimsby office. This is a permanent role, Monday – Friday, 37 hours a week, Salary: £26,000per year.
As a Marketing Assistant you will have a passion for all things marketing, becoming involved on marketing activity. This role is quite varied, so you’ll have a really broad range of tasks so ability to jump between jobs and prioritise daily
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the execution of events, working closely with our events executive and attendance where appropriate.
* Assisting with offline advertising.
* Assisting with creation and proof reading of press releases/articles/brochures.
* Assisting the digital executive with social media profiles, website and online updates.
* Monitoring and recording client satisfaction surveys and testimonials.
* Maintaining stock levels of literature and promotional items.
* Ensuring all offices and receptions have up to date literature.
* Communicating and booking business development and networking events.
* Collaborating proactively with colleagues across the firm, to support in the delivery of the marketing & BD strategy.
* Working with our creative team to develop promotional materials.
Candidate Criteria
As a Marketing Assistant you will ideally possess:
* 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing role.
* A marketing degree.
* GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English.
Skills Required
You must be able to demonstrate:
* Creativity, ideally with experience in designing presentations, invites, campaigns, internal comms.
* Competence with Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
* An ability to work in a corporate environment.
* An ability to work on their own initiative to organise workload, meet tight deadlines, and be flexible to adapt and change priorities according to immediate business needs.
* Be self-motivated and capable of working individually or as part of a team.
* Exceptional administration skills.
* Self-starter who can manage a varied workload and deliver to deadlines.
* Accuracy and an eye for detail are essential.
* Ideally experienced in using photo & Video editing software (e.g. Photoshop, Premiere) and Canva.
* Understanding and adoption of the firm’s values and behaviours.
