A leading full service communications agency based in West London has a fantastic opportunity for a forward thinking Front End Developer to join their Digital team.

You’ll be working across a broad range of projects across our various client portfolios. You’ll help define the correct user journeys by working with and feeding back to the business, designers and user experience teams. Your main priorities will be working to implement designs and user interfaces using the latest front-end technologies and integrating the front-end implementation. Your eye for detail and passion for user experience will be put to use performing cross-browser testing and producing high quality deliverables.

The role offers exposure to a range of well known client brands and a variety of exciting projects, where the candidate will be working across a number of platforms, building websites, mobile apps and more.

The successful candidate must have the following:
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (preferably the jQuery library)
• Considerable experience of developing WordPress themes
• An understanding of backend integration (preferably PHP and MySQL)
• Experience of developing sites from both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop designs
• A strong portfolio of previous work
It would also be desirable for the successful candidate to have significant experience of the following:
• Responsive design
• Usability testing
• UI development
• Accessibility testing (with a firm grasp of best practices)
• API Integration
The ideal candidate will be a solutions based developer, an ideas person with the ability to translate digitally what the creative team has designed.

You will be a go getter, creative in your approach and able to think on your feet. This role will be suited to someone who is hard working, yet a character to have in the office.
