THE COMPANY
Taylor’s Hoists (part of Lyndon SGB by BrandSafway) is a well-recognised and reputable company that specialises in providing a wide range of mechanical access solutions to the UK construction industry.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We require a competent Hoist Site Supervisor to work on sites in the Manchester and surrounding areas. Must be NVQ Level 3 and SSSTS qualified.
You will be employed on a permanent and full time basis becoming part of the growing team at Taylor’s Hoists during an exciting phase of business growth.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Salary up to £51,600per annum + travel time + overtime / weekends 1.5x
- Company van provided to travel to sites (when required and necessary)
- Comprehensive training provided
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Working within the method statement, assist with the installations and dismantles of hoists.
- Ensure that all works carried out are done in a safe manner.
- Proactively promote health and safety.
- Follow all reasonable instructions received by the Lead Hoist Installer or Supervisor.
- Ensure that all required PPE is fit for purpose and any that is not, is reported immediately to the Office Manager.
- Follow all reasonable instructions received by the Supervisor/Line Manager
- Responsible for ensuring that all PPE supplied is kept in a good condition. Any PPE lost or damaged must be reported to the Office Manager immediately for replacements to be issued.
- Responsible for ensuring that daily worksheets are completed and submitted to the Office Manager promptly and within the required timescale.
- Ensure that all company supplied equipment is used correctly and maintained. Any loss or damage to equipment must be reported immediately.
- Carry out any reasonable duties as requested.
- Adhere to Company’s policies and procedures.
- Support and promote a team culture and company values.
- Any other duties that are deemed fit within the role.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Hoist Site Supervisors will have hands-on experience in a similar role
- NVQ Level 3 qualified
- SSSTS qualified
- Confidence working at heights and manual handling.
- A good attitude towards health and safety.
- Dedicated to learning new skills.
- Team player and self-motivated.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Flexible to travel and work on different sites (with the occasional stay overnight)
