Head of Sales – Commercial Cleaning

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

For over 30 years my client has built a reputation for the highest standards in cleaning and hygiene – from offices and sports stadia to schools and medical practices across the Midlands/South Yorkshire from Northampton in the south to Doncaster in the North, west to Lichfield and east to Nottingham, employing in the region of 350 staff. I am now working in partnership with them to recruit a Head of Sales.

The aim of the role is for the individual to initially be the focus point of the sales function, with the aim of recruiting for and managing a successful sales team to the levels the company benefited from pre COVID-19 (which was made up of the Head of Sales and two Sales Executives).

They are looking for the successful individual to generate £1m worth of new sales in year one, selling into the manufacturing, office, industrial, sports sectors etc. They have some terrific reference points from a sales point of view and as well as general growth in their operating area they are looking to utilise these flagship contracts to grow their business in specifically in the Sheffield, Nottingham and Leicester areas.

Candidates for the role

* Must have several years experience of successfully selling soft FM services

* Be capable of producing £1m worth of new business per annum

* Be capable of recruiting and leading a small sales team

* Be capable of devising and implementing a sales plan

* Must reside on “patch” and within 90 minutes of Derby

* Must be hold a UK driving license
