About this Primary Teaching Assistant Role
At this vibrant school, as a Primary Teaching Assistant you will be moving across the whole of the KS2 phase. You role will require you to mentor students 1:1 and lead a series of booster and intervention sessions to tackle difficult topics. Through specially designed phonics activities and language games, you will accelerate the linguistic development of pupils who speak ‘English as an Additional Language’. Part of your role will include learning how to plan an effective lesson and working alongside a SENCO who will act as your mentor.
