Hours: 22 Hours Per Week
Hourly Rate: Up to £15.58Limited Company / £10.38 PAYE

Position Description:
The Whitley Boutique Retail Assistant’s role will be responsible for the following:
• Opening or closing of the Boutique (depending on agreed hours – this is currently a job share consisting of a morning and afternoon shift)
• Fulfilling customer requirements and queries
• Processing sales and activating sales promotions as per guidance from Retail Superivisor
• Keeping the Boutique area clean, tidy and well stocked with up-to-date merchandise to ensure that it adheres to the recommended display guidelines.
• Start/End of Day Trading Processes – i.e. Cashing up, sales reporting as necessary.

Skills Required:
Retail Experience, including Sales and Cash Handling

• High attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Friendly, enthusiastic and helpful team player who is confident under pressure
• Commercially focused, with a customer first approach
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with cash handling and direct sales
• Admin experience and computer literate
• Confident with Microsoft Office & Excel

Skills Preferred:
• Ability to analyse and interpret commercial data to increase sales/turnover

Experience Required:
• Preferably a minimum of 12 months within a Retail Environment

Experience Preferred:
• Preferably Retail Experience will be within a well known brand

Education Required:
• GSCE Level Maths & English, or equivalent

Additional Information:
Experience in Visual Merchandising would be advantageous.
22 Hours – Start time: TBC – 8:30 // 12:00 End time – TBC – 12:30 // 4:30 / 4:00 on a Friday
