MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

OVERVIEW:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in a leading FMCG Company. We are currently recruiting for a multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for this worldwide company. This opportunity will offer you a chance to work on prestigious machinery. Due to regular expansion there are many opportunities for progression for the right candidate.

THE ROLE OF A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:
Working an early, lates and nights shift pattern, this maintenance Engineer will be responsible for installation, service and maintenance of all bespoke machinery on site. For this is a site based role based in the West Midlands. The right candidate will need to be apprentice trained in either mechanical or electrical with knowledge of both areas. Your role will involve supporting existing engineers with planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery.

Duties;
– Carrying out planned maintenance
– Attending breakdowns
– PLC Fault finding
-Working on hydraulics and pneumatics

KEY SKILLS:
Our client is looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, who is able to work on 3 phase electrics and PLC fault finding. It would be beneficial if you come from a distribution or manufacturing background. As well as being able to PLC fault find and work to 3 phase you will need to do some mechanical work including repairing gearboxes, belts and chains. Full training will be provided.

As they are currently winning new contracts with new clients across the UK they are recruiting for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer. Our client is offering a challenging position within a blue chip company with full internal training on all machinery on site.

BENEFITS: Pension and 25 days Holiday including Bank Holidays

SALARY: £36,000up to £34,000

COMMUTABLE FROM: Nuneaton, Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Birmingham and West Midlands
