Our client based in Nottingham is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a long term basis. The candidate will be responsible for both installation & breakdowns on heavy plant machinery to ensure 24 hour production is maintained. Must have relevant qualifications to be considered for the role.
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Mechanical Maintenance experience
Ideally be Apprentice trained or have relevant qualifications
Able to work from engineering drawings
Qualified to HNC level would be an advantage
Welding qualifications would be a bonus
Be confident with both hydraulics & pneumatics
Able to respond to breakdowns on production machinery including mechanical fault finding
Be competent with installation and relocation of machinery
Previous experience maintaining and installing conveyor systems
Must be able to complete appropriate paperwork
Package:
4 on 4 of rotating shifts
Paying up to £22.36 per hour
Ample overtime available
