Salary: £26,000 per year

Warehouse Operative (Metal environment)
Area: Dudley
Pay: up to £26,000 per year

Hours: Mon – Fri 10am – 6:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Warehouse Operatives to join a well-known global company in the area of Dudley on a day shift with potential to move to an afternoon shift.

The role of a Warehouse Operative is offered on temporary basis, potentially leading to permanent position following a 13 week probation period. This position is a varied role and would benefit candidates with valid Forklift licences, although this is not essential.

As a Warehouse Operative your duties will include:

* Working within a busy Industrial / Production environment

* Helping with the import and despatch of various metals

* Working as part of a close team and have the initiative to work on your own accord

* Ensuring customer daily KPI’S are met.

* Picking/packing in a steel environment

* Using a variety of Forklifts including Counterbalance, Reach & Side loader’s

As a warehouse Operative you will have the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience of working in a steel stockholding environment

* Manual handling experience and okay with heavy lifting

* Flexible with working hours

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Keen understanding of various metals

* FLT Licence (beneficial but not essential)
