Production Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

Industrial Personnel are now hiring a Production Operative for our client based in Rotherham.
THE JOB
* £26,000 per year
* Permanent position.
* Based in the Rotherham area.
* The role involves producing high quality products to the agreed specifications, and meeting output targets.
* Operating in line with set procedures at all stages of the production process.
* Working to minimise waste, improve efficiency and reduce returns.
* Adhere to safe systems of work and report any defects.
* Maintain a well organised and clean workspace.
* Perform quality checks in accordance with ISO instructions.
* Work as part of a line team producing quality products and report the progress of your products to your supervisor.
THE PERSON
* Must have previous production or manufacturing experience in a similar environment.
* Able to maintain clean, well-organised workspace, in line with SSOW and safety procedures.
* Must be a reliable and trust-worthy individual who is able to always work effectively, even when unsupervised.
* Good time management required.
* Able to follow Health and Safety requirements.
* The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate a positive attitude towards work and be flexible with regard to learning new skills.
* Able to follow instructions, as well as working from own initiative.
WORKING HOURS
Monday-Friday (40 Hours a week).
3 shift rotation (days, afternoons and nights).
Overtime available, and is paid at time and a half on Saturdays and double on Sundays.
