Xelion is a cloud communications platform provider supplying telecoms and communications across Europe to businesses via a channel of Telecoms and IT partners. We are growing fast and looking for a Marketing executive to join and help support our UK team.
We are looking for a fantastic Marketing Executive, with excellent attention to detail, to work within our marketing team on a wide range of projects from digital marketing to live events. You would be part of a fast-growing technology company based in Derby.
We welcome candidates with marketing experience, great communication skills and excellent attention to detail to join our hard-working, supportive and friendly team.
We are hoping to interview bright, enthusiastic, can-do people, who can balance priorities and take ownership of campaigns and projects.
The Role:
* Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for marketing campaigns and projects. Your key responsibilities would be as follows:
* Liaise with agencies and third parties to create campaign materials such as e-mail campaign copy, flyers and landing pages
* Send and report on email campaigns
* Assist with preparing and distributing blogs for the website and across social media
* LinkedIn and Twitter account management
* Create branded materials for events
* Plan on and off-line events and exhibitions held in the office and around the UK
* Research key events and prospects all over the UK
* Help out with ad hoc projects

Essential
* 1 years’ experience in a marketing role
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Attention to detail
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities
* Creativity and commercial awareness
* Team player
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable – full training will be given
* BSc/BA in marketing or relevant field
* Experience with online CRM systems like ZoHo or Salesforce
* Experience with online mailing systems like Dotdigital or Mailchimp
