Salary: £26,000per year
plus company car, private healthcare, pension and bonus

Our client specialises in the delivery of advanced medical nutrition As well as being the largest specialist nutrition company in Europe, our client is the market leader in the UK.

They supply high quality feeds, systems and support services to patients and health care professionals. Through their prestigious Homeward service, our client delivers nutritional feeds, enteral feeding systems and nursing care directly to patients’ homes.

In this role you will be working with patients being discharged from Secondary care to primary care, with enteral/PEG nutrition. The Nutrition HCA will provide pre-discharge training regarding enteral /PEG nutrition and provide follow up support in their home. Training will include enteral nutrition, pumps, feeds and PEG site. You will provide maintenance visits to patients in their homes to ensure they are confident regarding the ongoing management of their enteral/PEG nutrition, as well as supporting all Nurses in both Private and NHS accounts.

To be considered for this important role you will be an NVQ qualified HCA and will meet the following criteria;

• An experienced Health Care Assistant with relevant NVQ level III qualifications
• Community based nursing experience would be an advantage
• Previous experience with enteral nutrition
• Excellent communication skills and a team player
• Full driving licence with no more than 6 points
