Salary: £26,000 per year

Facility/Workplace Manager 

Job description:  

Responsibilities

  1. Workplace management including front desk 
  2. Workplace servicer provider management including Physical security, workplace cleaning and hygiene, Power equipment, Cooling equipment and building maintenance suppliers. 
  3.  Work closely with suppliers on facility equipment management including Site access control system, Cooling, AC/DC Power management system, Genset, Fire protection systems. 
  4. Work with service provider and ensure facility equipment regular test and maintenance as per compliance schedule
  5. Work with service provider and ensure workplace cleaning and hygiene standards in operational and non-operational areas.
  6. Review service provider regular maintenance job and completion sign off. 
  7. Raise fault/job with service provider, acquire quote, present to customer, and get fault/job completed. 
  8. Ensure service providers are working and delivering as per agreed SLA. 
  9. Site H&S compliance, H&S incident management. 
  10. Lead and drive an emergency response procedure.
  11. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Capgemini processes & procedures
  12. Management of waste streams
  13. Provide a professional service to those requesting additional Facilities help.
  14. Provide assistance with moving furniture, equipment and relocation as required
  15. Checking appliances, fittings and general environment are in good working order and all defects reported
  16. Lead and drive Facility management and H&S meeting with Service provider and Customer 
  17. Plan, organise and provide training for the facilities team to provide the highest standard of service possible 
  18. Perform regular audits with contractors 

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Solid experience in FM within a professional environment, with at least 3 years at a manager level experience within a corporate setting 

Soft and Hard service facilities contractor management 

Supplier and contract management experience. 

A qualification in health & safety (NEBOSH, IOSH) 

IWFM certification desired 

Ability to work with an existing team on site

Customer focused with good communication skills

Moderate computer skills

Good understanding and work experience on Microsoft office. 

Good understand and experience on UK Workplace Health and Safety legislation

Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads

Ability to communicate at all levels

Experience of working on an occupied Data Centre would be preferable but not essential

Knowledge of Power Management

Understanding of AV (audio/video) systems

Knowledge of HVAC & A/C systems

Knowledge of BMS Systems

Experience working within a facilities team essential

Driving Licence essential
