What will you be doing?

This role reports into the Analytics Manager and is aligned to a specific business function. You will support other analysts within the team to provide the business with their data analytic needs.

You will need to have excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders from all levels of the organisation, and will gain exposure to members of senior management. You will look to create documentation of the as is and to be process through process/data mapping and support requirements gathering and prioritisation for the wider Municipal Analytics Team.

Innovative thinking is promoted and you will be given opportunities to present ideas and push for change to senior management whilst also working on these and realising the impact your ideas and analysis has on the business.

Support Analytics Manager with requirement gathering and prioritisation
Process mapping of current processes and proposed solutions and benefits of these
Help drive reports and analytics that are delivered by the team to end users
Develop an understanding of the various end users of these reports and support the team in delivering suitable material for their end users
Be able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical people
Support team with data governance and system roadmap

What are we looking for?

Core BA skills to allow for identifying business benefit, stakeholder management, requirement gathering, documenting requirements and measuring successes.
Experience communicating with all levels of stakeholders, from operations to senior management.
High problem solving ability
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proactive and forward thinking
