Field Service Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

Due to business growth my client are looking for an expereienced Field Service Engineer to join their business. My client are a leading packaging machinery manufacturer. Their ideal candidate will have previous packaging machinery customer facing service engineer experience and have experience working on labelling, filling, wrapping, weighing automated machinery and associated equipment. The role is cover the North UK with some UK duties in the Midlands area when required. Specific machinery training will be given and overtime will be paid to increase your base salary.

Field Service Engineer – role

The successful field service engineer will be home based and report to the General / Service Manager. Responsible for travelling to customers sites in the North UK with occasional travel to Midlands when required. You will complete service, installation, repairs and maintenance work on a wide range of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automated packaging machinery.
Training will be given.

Field Service Engineer – requirements

* Full Clean UK Driving Licence

* Previous Field Service Experience Essential

* Must have a good level of mechanical and electrical engineering skill including fault finding

* Knowledge and experience of Packaging Machinery essential

* Knowledge of labelling, filling, wrapping, weighing automated machinery and associated equipment

* PLC fault find experience, (Omron or Siemens beneficial).

* Salary £36,000 – £42,000 + overtime (OTE £40k+)

* 24 days holiday + bank hols
