Instrument Maintenance Technician – Clean Water
Bewdley / Birmingham
£28,000 + Overtime + Van & Laptop.
OTE – £36,000 to £40,000
Introduction
We are currently recruiting for an Instrument / Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a busy water services team, covering assets in and around Bewdley / Birmingham. This position offers good training opportunities that will enable candidates to become a fully qualified Multi-Skilled Technician.
The Job
As part of the Water Services Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating mechanical plant and instrumentation across a number of assets in the Bewdley / Birmingham area. Duties will include….
Pre-planned / reactive maintenance on Instrumentation, Mechanical Plant and Electrical Systems.
Working on equipment such as Process Control Loops, Pumps Controls, Motors, Drive Systems, Generators and PLC’s
Working across a variety of sites ranging from large manned sites to small rural locations.
The Candidate
Candidates will have sound Electrical / Instrumentation experience gained in an industrial environment. Ideally you will have an apprenticeship in engineering with recognised engineering qualifications at a minimum of NVQ Level 3.
