Business Intelligence Analyst
Marketing
£30,000 – £42,000 + Package. + Bonus 10% base salary
(Mon-Fri 9-5.)
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with vision, energy, commitment & enthusiasm to join a consistently innovative market leader.
My client is keen to source a Business Intelligence Analyst who will be able to provide information regarding customers, sales, markets, products and competitor intelligence, to deliver competitive advantage for the company.
As a commercial brand already you will become part of a dynamic European team and network within the wood panel products industry that operates in forestry and renewable energy and panel products.
KEY TASKS:
• The development, implementation, delivery and support of a range of high
quality Business and Market Intelligence solutions.
• Develop and maintain external analysis including Industry, Competitor, Market and Customer trends for high level opportunity recommendations to the company.
• Research and report on market segmentation, size, share and trends. Identify opportunities for increased sales / market growth.
• Keep up to date with industry legislation, filtering relevant information into the business areas for opportunities and threats.
• Work with Marketing to best target marketing activities.
• Interrogate the company’s customer and product range to enable Product Managers to best decide on product/customer mix/profitability.
• Analysing data and presenting in both oral and written formats using a variety of analysis and presentation techniques.
• Cross functional analytics for
• Marketing, New Product Developments and Sales.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2:1 degree in Marketing or Business Administration or similar.
• Excellent oral and written skills with an ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical issues.
• Relevant BI experience in a B2B environment.
• Demonstrated analytical, planning and in sighting skills.
• Strong team player who works effectively across different functions and products.
• Ability to work and deliver within a Project Structure.
• Advanced Excel user together with Microsoft packages.
• European languages an advantage.
