Salary: £54,000 per year

Role
As Electrical Design Engineer within the Birmingham office you will be responsible for supporting electrical and multi-disciplinary building services projects from design through to construction for medium to large scale projects.
Responsibilities
* Act as the Electrical Deskign Engineer within multi-disciplinary project teams.
* Coordinate electrical services designs with other building services disciplines and external teams including architects and structural engineers.
* Produce concept design through to detailed design for building services engineering systems.
* Ensure all design projects and reports are technically compliant and to a consistently high standard.
* Use initiative and good judgement to work independently to meet objectives.
Requirements
* A recognised Electrical or Building Services Engineering qualification to degree level.
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing electrical building services engineering design projects.
* Membership of a professional body (CIBSE or IET preferred) and committed to achieving Chartership.
* Experience with industry specific software such as Amtech, Dialux, Relux etc.
* Desire to improve your technical ability within electrical design across a range of building and project types.
