Pin Point Education are working with a beautiful boarding school in West Sussex.

Up to £45,468 per annum (dependent on experience) Term Time hours only; West Sussex

Full or part-time working will be considered. 39 weeks working arrangement. The post is a permanent role.

This boarding School is a day and weekly boarding school for 60 pupils and students age 3-19 with neuro-motor impairments such as cerebral palsy.

We require an experienced speech and language therapist to lead on service development initiatives and evidenced based practice around dysphagia management. You will clinically support other speech and language therapy colleagues at the school, lead on training specific to eating and drinking needs and work towards embedding practice amongst all school staff.

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of the IDDSI framework and should be at minimum level ‘C’ in accordance with the RCSLT Dysphagia competency Framework. You should have knowledge of supporting young people with a total communication approach and supporting with use of AAC. Further training and supervision can be offered in this area in line with the IDDSI and dysphagia competency framework.
