Diesel Service Engineer

Salary: £14.4 – £18 per hour

Diesel Service Engineer required for engineering company based in Ipswich. Main duties to involve install, fault find, repair and servicing of diesel engines, plant and equipment working within East Anglia. The ideal candidate will hold an HNC / C&G or equivalent in an engineering discipline, with mechanical bias, or similar and have previous experience working on diesel engines and equipment. Must be able to work to tight deadlines and plan work to agreed schedule. Work is normally planned on a daily basis but some flexibility required to respond to some emergencies and call-out during working hours and outside of them (additional pay for call outs). Hours 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. Good opportunity to join a well established company.
