Since 1984 our well established client has specialised in developing case management software to UK government funded organisations such as local authorities, private training organisations and companies who specialise in apprenticeship training and getting people back into work UK wide. Responsibilities and Duties

Working with our clients existing developers, you will work within an agile team to develop and maintain our industry leading web applications. Our ideal candidate will be driven, motivated, and keen to grow their skills and progress within the company.

This is a varied role and daily tasks will include

• Developing ASP.NET Core MVC web applications

• Maintenance of ASP.NET Web Forms web applications

• Writing high performing Microsoft SQL queries

• Adherence to ISO27001 security requirements

• Integration with third party systems via API’s

• Designing software solutions to customer requirements

• Peer review with all levels of developers

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience

• Understanding of secure development methodologies

• Technical confidence

•.Net (C#)

• WebAPI

• Ability to read, write MS SQL including stored procedures knowledge

• Net Technologies such as Web forms, ASP.NET MVC and WCF.

• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap

• Experience with React or equivalent framework

• Object Oriented Programming principles

• Version control software (GIT)

• Good communication and analytical skills

• Flexible ‘can do’ attitude

• Analytical and logical in design

• Kanban development workflow (JIRA)

Ideally you will also have experience with some of the following

• OAuth or OpenID Connect

• Azure App Services

• Azure storage including queues

• OWASP
