Salary: £26,000 per year
The Role:
Meter Reader required exclusively in the PL postcodes to carry out the reading of gas and electric meters in residential properties. You will be required to complete the reads in a professional and timely manner and enter the reads in to a handheld computer terminal. This is an ongoing temporary position. You will be required to work 42.5 hours a week
The Candidate:
This role would suit a candidate with delivery driving, door to door, postal or meter reading experience. The ideal candidate will be a target driven, motivated self starter with excellent communication skills. You are required to be a car owner with a clean criminal record, and a clean driving licence. You should be prepared to travel up to an hour away from your designated area and walk up to 5 miles per day in all weather.
The Benefits:
Salary: £26,000 per year, plus a mileage allowance of 25p per mile and the opportunity to earn bonus pay based upon high meter reading performance. This is a ongoing temporary position, with the opportunity to become a permanent employee.
