Senior Front End Developer – Html5 / Css3 / JavaScript

Axiom Futures is currently recruiting for a Senior Front End Developer to join a rapidly growing, online retailer based in Leeds City Centre.

Our client will fund your Treehouse account and dedicate 1 day per week to experimentation, self-education and training, to ensure you are always developing new skills and working in a cutting edge environment.

This role will be responsible for developing the experience of our client’s online store, collaborating with Analysts, Developers and Marketers to devise and develop new features and tests as they roll out an exciting and ambitious roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Developing features for our client’s web applications, turning high level descriptions into things their users will love
• Working with other teams to define design briefs
• Collaborating on wireframes and design drafts and turn these into well-implemented, functional user interfaces
• Working with the back-end engineering team to design and implement new methods to deliver new functionality
• Creating intuitive user interfaces and admin tools

Requirements:

• You must love to code! You’ll think of it as leisure rather than work, and have a number of your own projects you have done just for fun
• You’ll have an impressive portfolio that demonstrates strong design and development skills
• High competence writing HTML, CSS JavaScript and JQuery to modern practices
• JS MVC experience
• Experience using Sass, JavaScript AMD, AngularJS, Bower, Grunt and Git
• Experience producing responsive websites
• Experience producing e-commerce websites
• Site profiling and performance optimisation techniques
• A good understanding of marketing and conversion concepts
