Salary: £26,000 per year
We are thrilled to bring you 3 new Support Worker positions, working with an award-winning residential care provider who have vacancies at their beautiful outstanding service in Southbourne, delivering high-quality, individual support for adults with a learning disability, receiving 24/7 support and leading very busy, active lives.
Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly across a variety of shift patterns, including earlies, late’s and weekend work.
The positions are full time (40 hours) and permanent. (If you are looking for part time or bank work or have restrictions on availability, these positions are not for you.)
A typical day might see you supporting people going shopping, travelling on public transport, community-based activities (pub, cinema, eating out, swimming), going on holiday and generally being a positive role model.
Applicants should have previous experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities, and ideally a full UK driving licence (although this is NOT essential).
Confidence, a can-do attitude and a sense of humour would be a great benefit!
An NVQ (or equivalent) Level 2 is desirable but not essential. Induction and ongoing training is provided for all staff.
In accordance with the latest guidelines, all applicants should be fully vaccinated and be able to evidence this.
