Salary: £55,451 – £63,778 per year
This role
We are recruiting for a Head of Planned Delivery in our Compliance & Technical department who will have the responsibility of managing our planned delivery programmes for large capital works, as well as the Property side of defects and handover. The postholder will be responsible for setting policy and procedure, setting and monitoring large budgets, agreeing planned works and overseeing the teams managing MTVH programmes and contractors. You will have the ability and support to guide the organisation and influence change.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience of building and maintaining relationships with contractors, stakeholders and customers to continually improve services
Proven experience in a senior management role
Experience managing full public sector procurement processes from an operational standpoint
Experience of running large scale capital programmes, and complex repair/disrepair cases and Fitness for Habitation requirements
Familiarity for life cycle costings of buildings, and reporting and managing an internal?soft landings? service back to Development using concise audited data
Excellent project management skills and the ability to complete complex projects to deadline and on budget
Knowledge of specification writing and submission and experience in marking tender returns
Excellent IT skills and the ability to manipulate data at scale, analyse and report clearly and concisely
Understanding of BIM systems, the Decent Home Standard, Depreciation and Financial CAPEX requirements
