Flame Care Jobs: RMN Deputy Hospital Director (Low and Medium Secure – Mental Health): Surrey

Flame Care are currently working alongside a national client in the recruitment of a Deputy Hospital Director, who is RMN qualified. This is to join a low and medium secure forensic hospital based in Surrey.

The hospital specialises in treating male patients aged 18+ who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and who will benefit from extended treatment and rehabilitation. They care for patients with enduring mental illness, personality disorder and with mild learning disabilities.

As the Deputy Hospital Director you will be joining the expanding services of this hospital. You will be responsible for managing over 100 members of staff across the nursing, social work, psychology and occupational therapy services across the hospital. You will also be the lead for quality improvement across the hospital; ensuring systems are in place for monitoring the quality of care delivered.

As the Deputy Hospital Director and a member of the hospital`s senior management team, you will be required to deputise for the Hospital Director in their absence, as well as being the Registered Manager with CQC for this hospital.

Ideal candidate:
?A Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
?Must have a valid NMC Pin number
?Previous experience of working within a low and medium forensic secure service
?A good clinical background is essential for this position
?Good experience of operational management
?Excellent communication skills
?The ability to lead and motivate a team

Excellent salary of £60,000 – £66,000working 37.5 hours per year.
