Registered Nurses (RGN) and Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN)

Reading and surrounding area

£24 – £30 per hour

Residential Agency Ad hoc work
Willing to travel upto 20 miles of your home
Able to work long days (weekdays and weekends)
RGN or RMN required for a purpose build well established care homes based in the Reading area.

The ideal candidate will be a registered Nurse – RGN or RMN with a current *NMC PIN and relevant experience working in a similar position within the care sector, preferably caring for elderly Residents.

Required skills

Good Oral and written communication skills
A genuine interest in care of older people and older people with Dementia
Computer literate
Awareness of Adult safeguarding issues
Good Observation and recording skills
Good organisational and administrative skills
Ability to maintain Confidentiality
Prime Objectives
Responsible for nursing care and wellbeing of Residents, ensuring treatment prescribed by medical staff is continually carried out to a high standard.
Assisting the management team with running the Home and in their absence take responsibility for decision making
Ensuring other members of staff meet the personal needs of Residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence, equality and diversity.
