Supply Chain Coordinator

A global organisation are recruiting a Supply Chain Co-ordinator. Applicants need previous experience working in; Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Services, Account Management or Purchasing. Excellent IT / Business Systems literacy also required.

The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will join a; large, well motivated and dynamic team. The purpose of the Supply Chain Co-ordinator is to manage the flow of information and process between company and customer from order receipt to delivery. The Supply Chain Co-ordinator must foster excellent relationships with; customers, suppliers, transport providers and internal stakeholders.

Specific duties of the Supply Chain Co-ordinator include:
1. Review customer demand and share projected forecasts with suppliers
2. Review suppliers’ production plan and ensure it meets projected customer demand
3. Monitor and control stock levels
4. Manage stock shortages / slow moving stock and suggest solutions
5. Administer customer account, providing excellent levels of customer service
6. Arrange returns and issuing relevant paperwork
7. Analysis of customer requirements to identify trends and demand variances.
8. Manage vendors to achieve on-time customer delivery.
9. Set up and arrange outbound logistics – air, sea, land freight

Supply Chain Co-ordinator applicants should meet the following criteria:
1. Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Account Management, Customer Service or Sales experience
2. Excellent / Advanced IT (including macro’s) and Business Systems skills and experience
3. Enjoyment of a fast paced environment
4. Excellent communication, and relationship building skills
5. A second European language – desirable
