Warehouse Operations Supervisor

We are currently supporting the recruitment of a warehousing supervisor for a leading multi-national business. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the swift and accurate despatch of goods from warehouse to customer.

Prime responsibilities of the role

* Supervising a high volume goods out and transportation operation
* Liaising with transport to ensure all vehicle movements are correctly scheduled and managed
* Support shift managers including communicating of daily briefs, compliance with SOP’s and championing Health & Safety
* Assist with training of new staff
* Tracking of KPI’s
* Assist with resource planning, coaching and mentoring and absence and performance management
* Reporting of departmental metrics

The sort of person we are looking for

* A good people manager
* Someone comfortable working in a KPI led data driven environment
* A Health and Safety champion
* Consistently looking for new and innovative ways of improving processes and procedures
* A Customer champion
* Previous experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Transportation
