Senior Structural Autocad Technician – Reading, Berkshire

Salary: 33-37 Negiotiable + Excellent benefits package

The Opportunity/Role Profile

We are looking to recruit a permanent Senior Structural Autocad Technician in the Reading Office.

The successful candidate should have several years experience in Building Structures and should be conversant with up to date AutoCAD software.

Currently we are experiencing an upturn in workload and are looking for a candidate who can initially join, what is a small team, to be the sole CAD resource but, as our intended growth continues the intention is that this candidate would develop to lead a small team of Technicians in terms of monitoring standards, allocating resource and monitoring against programme as well as producing their own work.

Revit experience would be a benefit, however Not essential for the role as we have several projects requiring this input. We are however, more than happy to offer training to the successful candidates.

The successful candidate will report to the Director in our Reading Office but will also be expected to liaise closely with our Senior Engineer.

This position requires a certain amount of overlap and flexibility. The company encourage their employees to develop to the best of their capabilities and there will be opportunities for promotion within the company.

This team undertakes the following tasks

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial, but not essential: Residential, Education Commercial, Loadbearing Masonry, Reinforced Concrete (but RC detailing experience is not a necessity) Steelwork Timber Frame Refurbishment and Extension work

**Experience of setting up systems/standards would also be advantageous***
