The Organisation:

Our client is a market-leading manufacturer and distributor of branded and private label consumer durables which they sell through a diverse number of sales channels. This business has a demonstrable track record of designing, sourcing and distributing a wide range of products for the home. The business is well funded, debt free and well positioned to take the next stage in its evolution.

The Role:

The role can be based in the North West of England or home based, depending on your location, with regular trips to Europe and the Far East.

• Develop a range of products for European and US retailers and distributors.
• Any experience of the procurement of table lamps hugely desirable
• NPD and innovation, liaising with internal and external design teams
• Monitor fashion and trends across core markets and develop complimentary ranges for each sales territory.
• Work closely with major European/US retailers to identify niche fashion-led products for home markets.
• Product sourcing – regular trips to the Far East.

The Individual:

• Self-starter, high level of ambition and motivation;
• Comfortable travelling to the Far East on a regular basis;
• Excellent communication skills and strong character;
• A proven track record of working to tight deadlines;
• Excellent presentation skills;
• A keen interest in fashion, trends and retail
