Job Title: Hospitality Assessor (Front and Back of House)

Salary: £26,000 – £27,000per year

Package: 33 Days Holiday inc BH, 40p per mile from home, Pension, Mobile, Laptop, Dongle, Discounts, Health Care +

Location: North East (Must be flexible with travel to the North West and possible overnight stays)

KM are currently recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who is looking to appoint a Hospitality Assessor (FOH/BOH) to manage a caseload of learners situated in and around the North East with some learners in the North

The successful Assessor will be home based and be responsible for the training, assessment and support of a caseload of learners undertaking Apprenticeships within Hospitality and Catering, and to ensure the timely and accurate completions in line with company procedures and timescales

Duties:

– Delivering full Apprenticeship frameworks in: Hospitality, Front of House, Housekeeping, Bar Work and Professional Cookery to level 3 including Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) to level 2, Tech Cert, ERR & PLTS
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted
– Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their Apprenticeship/QCF qualifications
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress
– Support, advise and motivate learners
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs

Essential Criteria:

– Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA
– Experience of delivering full framework Apprenticeships in Hospitality, Front of House, Housekeeping, Bar Work and Professional Cookery with Key Skills or Functional Skills
– Must hold a minimum of 3 years occupational experience within a Hotel environment at a Supervisory level
– The ability to hit the ground running with a full caseload
– Must be flexible with travel and possible overnight stays
– Must be flexible to work outside of the usual 9am-5pm due to the sector
