Salary: £390 per day
Events Manager – ongoing
£390 per day (PAYE) or £416 per day (Limited company contractor)
Key Objectives…
• Identify & deliver upon key KPIs for all B2B events
• Establish processes & mechanisms for the smooth handling of all channel events
• Take ownership of any type of event, hospitality, roadshow, product launch for EBT.
Key Responsibilities…
• Managing and delivering on funded/co-funded events
• Budget & ROI management – ensuring on-budget delivery of all activity, whilst maximising ROI
• Supporting and/or running individual channel partner events (resellers and distributors)
• Forging strategic alliances and partnerships with trade bodies to develop our sales in Vertical B2B markets
• Maximising EBT traction from Corporate-Marketing lead events and sponsorship
• Manage external events agencies
Soft Skills
• Ability to handle multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to successfully deliver on key projects
• Experience of leading virtual teams / excellent interpersonal skills
• Extremely well organised, with strong & demonstrable complex project planning experience
• Must be able to multi-task and project manage large events
• Able to work under pressure or tight deadlines
• Must be a team worker
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Proven track record of multiple agency & supplier management
Hard Skills:
• Degree or similar qualification in a marketing related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Events Management role, covering trade shows, hospitality, corporate events (agency or client side)
• Extensive experience of running both UK and International events (involving travel management etc.)
• High levels of expertise required with Microsoft Office in particular, powerpoint and excel
• Experience of managing budgets
To be successful in this role you ideally have:-
• Background in marketing of IT hardware (e.g. PC, Print, Display/AV, Telecoms)
• Confidence to directly work with the channel and sales teams to ensure that channel events/roadshows are planned, invested in and correctly deployed
