Salary: £38,400 per year
Mechanical Fitter (Days): Widnes
£38,400 per annum (inc. shift allowance) plus overtime
4 on 4 off Days/Nights
Venatu Consulting are working in partnership with our client in Widnes to recruit a Mechanical Fitter on day shift.
The Position:
As a Mechanical Fitter your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:
* Day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery
* Routine maintenance programs
* Management and production input
* Risk assessments
* Tool accountability
* Completing department daily work record sheets
* Assisting other mechanical/operational departments when required
Requirements:
* Ideally have experience of working within an industrial environment
* You must have served a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship
* Have extensive Mechanical experience working in a continuous process environment
* Have proven experience with fault finding
* Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices
* You must be able to work using your own initiative
* Be able to work on your own or as part of a team
* Be able to communicate at all levels
