Chief Mechanical Engineer

Unique opportunity for a Chief Mechanical Engineer with experience designing and developing medium to large electrical machinery, specifically air-cooled 2 pole turbo-generators to work for a thriving business in Leicestershire. You should have design expertise in medium to large electrical machinery, ideally including two-pole turbo-generators with brushless or static excitation. As Chief Mechanical Engineer you will deliver a leading edge electrical design capability, performing design reviews and managing a team of Engineers. OUR CLIENT WILL RELOCATE INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERS AND SPONSOR VISAS.

Essential Chief Mechanical Engineer Skills:

* Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering
* Substantial mechanical engineering design experience in medium to large electrical machinery, specifically air-cooled 2 pole generators
* Proven track record managing people including performance management and appraisals
* 3D CAD experience

Salary: £72,000 plus benefits (pension, life assurance, childcare vouchers)
