What do we need from you?

We’re looking for that aspiring someone who is currently working in IT and wants to take a step into the field of security, you must be self-motivated and happy working with minimal supervision. This is a new role within a relatively new team where you will be tasked with audits, report writing, policy editing and in general supporting the manager in defining the department and its tasks. You will have a good overall knowledge of IT in general, including networks and servers, be able to find their way around Active Directory and Office 365 and understand authentication and authorisation within. Any current knowledge of risk or security would be an advantage.

What will your day to day look like?

To provide R&S related support assigned from the IT Service Desk
To perform audits of 365 logins, actions and alerts on a daily and weekly basis
To proactively monitor alerts and notifications, taking the appropriate action
To proactively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding requests and issues
To provide at all times a professional, courteous and rapid response to individual users, prioritising tasks according to business need
To analyse data and provide insight to several business areas
To maintain and update the risk and security logs
Manage vulnerability assessment reports and ensure timely mitigation
To undertake all other tasks as reasonably requested by management 

Required skills, knowledge and experience

Knowledge of Active Directory and its administration
Knowledge of networks and firewalls
Knowledge of PCs and Servers
Proven track record working in IT
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to summarise complex information and present in a business-friendly format
Auditing Experience
Microsoft Office experience Excel in Particular
Knowledge of office 365 and its administration
