Rigger / Erector

Our client is looking for an experienced Rigger/Erector/Slinger for a job in a factory in Barrow-in-Furness.

The Rigger/Erector will need to be an experienced Lifting Supervisor and appointed person and will be required to oversee the removal of a 25m high chimney (constructed in 5 x 5m high flanges) and installation of a new chimney at the site.

Rigger/Erector will be required to spend the first week at the clients site near Cardiff in South Wales to write up lifting plans and ensure that the correct Health and Safety procedures are in place for the job together with any other Administrative requirements.

Rigger/Erector will then be required to spend approximately 3 weeks on site in Barrow-in-Furness overseeing the job described above.

Candidates for this role will be required to provide proof of their experience as demonstrated on their CV together with the relevant cards/certification to do the job.
