Assistant Store Manager

Our client, an Industry recognised Food Retailer, is recruiting for Assistant Store Managers to cover various areas within the Midlands region, particularly Cannock, Leicester and Tamworth. Successful candidates will possess the Passion and Enthusiasm of the Retail industry, have the ability to join one of the leading organisations and make an impact on the business. Candidates must have the drive and ability to deliver results with first rate skills in Leadership and Motivation.

You will thrive on working under pressure in a fast paced environment; enjoy working to processes and strict deadlines. An excellent education is a distinct advantage coupled with analytical and numerical skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager with cashing up tills and dealing with the security company
• Estimate sales and productivity overview to meet targets
• Responsible for training and development of employees
• Day to day running of the store in absence of the Store Manager
• Help ensure a positive working environment
• Consulting with Store and Area Manager in regards to business decisions
• Dealing with customer complaints and Staff discipline
• Ordering of stock
• Ensure all goods comply with health and safety

Offering a starting salary of £27,600, this will be a 48 hour working week and our client offers a generous trainee package that will increase, 5 weeks holiday per year plus public holidays and operate two excellent BONUS incentives
