Production Assembler

Salary: £26,000 per year

Assemblers required on a permanent basis for our client based in Brierley Hill. Due to company growth and increase in orders we are looking for experienced production assemblers to join our team

You will be required to assemble small electrical components and build small enclosures using hand and air line power tools following technical drawings. You will need previous assembly experience and be able to understand and follow technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
• Always display the 3 fundamental areas of focus – Health & Safety, Quality and Target awareness.
• Work swiftly, methodically, accurately and in a controlled manner.
• Demonstrate dexterous handling of small assembly components.
• Record relevant information in full on documentation accurately.
• Work collaboratively with your colleagues/team on promoting a continuous improvement mentality that generates ideas all year round helping to drive H&S, service or cost improvement.

Skills/Experience:
• Flexibility and works well both in a team and on own.
• Work swiftly, methodically, accurately and in a controlled manner.
• Maintain concentration over long periods when carrying out repetitive tasks.
• Awareness of Health and safety standards.
• Identify and act upon areas of improvement for self, others, and business.
• Ability to follow process instructions.
• Previous experience in a assembly production environment.

Initially you will start on Days whilst training Monday – Thursday 8am to 4:30pm & Friday 8am to 3pm

After training period you will be Working rotating shifts: Mon – Fri – 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm

Salary: £26,000per yearto start rising to £19980 after training period

Further pay rise scheduled in the near future.
