Head of Is Programme Delivery

Head of IS Programme Delivery required to lead a multi-disciplined team of managers responsible for internal Business Relationship management and IS Programme & project delivery. Offering up to £108 per hour to be based in Central London for 10 months.

The successful Head of IS Programme Delivery will be responsible for the following:

Programme delivery:
Gather requirements from all IP functions to define and deliver IP business and IT systems Direct and oversee programmes to establish, develop and maintain the IP’s business systems

Business performance:
Effectively manage relationship with all IP functions to ensure continued alignment of business requirements to capability delivery
Effectively manage the delivery of Business and IT programmes to enable capability development in accordance with the Transition plans

Regulatory compliance:
Supervise the procurement and delivery of Business and IT systems in accordance with internal processes and relevant utilities regulations

Team Management:
Recruit, manage and develop the team. Actively encourage and support the development and empowerment of people through delegation, feedback and mentoring. Manage within the IP values and behaviours.

Experience required for this role includes:

1. Previous experience of Information Systems Programme delivery
2. Budgetary control in excess of £10m
3. Industry experience in the asset intensive industries
4. Senior leadership and stakeholder management

Skills and competencies required for this role include:

1. Leadership, people and team management
2. Accustomed to operating at a senior and influential level within a large IS/IT organisation
3. Experienced in customer relationship management and stakeholder management techniques
4. Able to establish immediate impact and credibility
5. Project management experience at large scale
6. Excellent customer-focus, ensure that service and customer satisfaction levels are maintained
7. Strong commercial acumen (£20m+ budgets)
8. Experience of working in a multi-vendor environment
9. Deep experience of IT portfolio governance, planning and performance management
10. Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams

Offering up to £108 per hour to be based in Central London. This contract is for an initial 10 month period.
