Cubed Resourcing are working closely with a rapidly expanding distribution company that are a leader in their market; currently recruiting for a permanent Warehouse Assistant. This is an exciting time to join the business as they are experiencing significant growth and are constantly expanding into new markets, looking to almost double their turnover within the next two years.

As a Warehouse Assistant, your main responsibility will be to prepare customer orders to be dispatched – usually for next day delivery. You will be a part of a dedicated team at the company`s subcontracted Batley warehouse.

This role will involve a mixture of hands on warehouse work and administration using the warehouse systems, therefore excellent IT skills are required. The company require a motivated and ambitious candidate as there will be opportunities to progress within the warehouse – this position is for a potential future leader and will require someone that is genuinely passionate about contributing to our client`s success.

Key responsibilities:

– Prepare stock to meet customer demands
– Picking stock items and packing ready for dispatch
– Using the in-house systems to record stock with a high level of accuracy
– May involve loading and unloading materials with a Fork Lift Truck

Who we`re looking for:

– Recent and relevant experience within a warehouse including stock control administration
– Extremely accurate – there is no room for error when dealing with these customer orders
– Proven track record of working to tight deadlines
– Proficient with IT skills; in-house WMS and Microsoft Office
– A willingness to learn and adopt responsibility in other areas over time, becoming a future leader for the warehouse
– FLT licence would be beneficial

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
